Low cost, CMOS process  
The UX2006 transimpedance amplifier provides a  
compact low-cost/power solution for 155Mbps  
fiber optic communication application. Fabricated  
in an advance sub-micron CMOS process, wide  
dynamic range with AGC works up to 3dBm,  
3.3/5V supply and consumes 53/85mW, all of  
these features make the UX2006 well suited for  
SDH/SONET fiber optic application, especially  
OC-3/STM-1.

The UX2006 is available in die package form,  
compact 650 x 900um2 die area makes it easily  
assembly into a TO-can header with a photodi-  
odes.  
The UX2006 is designed for combining with the  
UX2105 Limiting-Amplifier. When mounted with a  
suited PIN, the chip set forms a high performance  
receiver.
