DEVICE DESCRIPTION
FEATURES
The ZR285 uses a bandgap circuit design to achieve a
precision m icropower voltage reference of 2.5 volts.
The device is available in a sm all outline surface m ount
package, ideal for applications where space saving is
im portant.
• Sm all outline SOT23 package
• No stabilising capacitor required
• Low knee current, 15µA typical
• Typical TC 30ppm /°C
The ZR285 design provides a stable voltage without an
external capacitor and is stable with capacitive loads.
The ZR285 is recom m ended for operation between
20µA and 20m A and so is ideally suited to low power
and battery powered applications.
• Typical slope resistance 0.4Ω
• Ϯ 3%, 2% and 1% tolerance
• Industrial tem perature range
• Operating current 20µA to 20m A
Excellent perform ance is m aintained to an absolute
m axim um of 30m A, however the rugged design and 20
volt processing allows the reference to withstand
transient effects and currents up to 200m A. Superior
switching capability allows the device to reach stable
operating conditions in only a few m icroseconds.
