MODEL GUIDE
The RY3-series modules are designed to represent the RF section
of an analog cordless phone. SHARP’s units are compatible with
the North American 900 MHz ISM band as well as the European
900 MHz CT1, and CT1+ bands. Sharp also offers an RF unit for
the 1.88 GHz European DECT market.

These units are fully duplexed transceivers, called the base set and
hand set, respectively. Using 3-wire PLL programming, the
transceivers are double converted from the given receive band to a
low frequency demodulated signal which can be easily processed.
The shielded package allows for optimized EMI considerations.
SHARP’s North American transceivers are FCC approved; the
European units are PTT approved.
